Komo News is reporting WSU running back James Montgomery was arrested last night on an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license.
Over at CougCenter, we looked at the charge and the repercussions for WSU and Montgomery.
An arrest is never good, but try not to get too worked up about this. The charge is a simple misdemeanor driving offense and could be a situation where Montgomery forgot to take care of a citation or was a simple misunderstanding.
It’s unknown whether Montgomery traveled or will play this weekend against SMU or what, if any, discipline he faces.
We’ll find out more as it becomes available. It doesn’t look to be too serious for Montgomery, though.
