NFL Roster Cuts: Seahawks Make Roster Moves, Now At 75 Players

Stay connected for news and updates

The Seahawks are finished with their first round of cuts, making five roster moves to get down to the required 75 player limit.

Greg Johns has the scoop.

Guard Gregg Peat, wide receiver Kole Heckendorf and kicker Clint Stitser have been cut, along with former CFL defensive end Ricky Foley.

The first round of roster moves is minor, with players that had no chance of making the final roster being waived in the preliminary cuts. The Seahawks will continue to trim the roster before Saturday’s final roster deadline.
