The Seahawks have begin trimming their roster to meet the NFL-mandated 75 man limit by Tuesday’s deadline. The Seahawks roster currently stands at 80, leaving them with five cuts to make before the deadline.
The Seahawks haven’t announced the five roster moves they’ll need to make by 1 p.m. on Tuesday, but a Canadian website is reporting that former CFL standout Rickey Foley is among those released in the first cutdown.
The Seahawks will continue to make cuts before releasing their final 53-man roster by Saturday’s NFL cut deadline.
